“It’s not what the eye catches. It’s what the head makes of it.”

it's not what the eye catches - it's what the head make so fit!

great parts of patrick halek’s paintings are turned into three-dimensional pieces by the integration of installations. his paintings are untitled because they are supposed to remain what they are: abstract.
his photographs are turned into photopaints. various computer-aided techniques never quite reveal the actual look through the lense when a picture was taken.
therefore, interpreting each work is left to the viewer's eye. so, each work has different meanings to different viewers. because it's not what the eye catches - it's what the head makes of it!
